Knowing Christ is best done in
Community and by Worshiping
Christ, Experiencing Christ, and Sharing Christ. We fulfill the great
Liturgy
In the book of Acts and the Epistles, there are indications of what Christians did when they met together. They sang, heard the Scriptures read and explained, remembered and proclaimed the death of Jesus, and offered prayers not only for themselves but for all people. In time, Christians developed forms and patterns for this type of gathering which we call liturgy. Our worship is decidedly liturgical... but fresh! We work to keep the liturgy intelligible in language and appropriate to our time and culture.
Music
Worship through music is a very
important part of our
worship services. Each Epiphany site has a worship music team
that
includes selections from classic hymns to the latest contemporary
Christian
songs for Sunday services. This worship is led by various
instruments
depending on the site.
Small groups are the essential building block of Epiphany
Anglican
Fellowship providing the place for both Community and
Life
Groups provide robust
Community by providing a place to practice the Christian life together.
In
small groups you can be known and loved for who you are currently while
being
challenged to grow into the person God designed you to be. Through
Bible discussion,
prayer, sharing and mission, you can experience the abundant life Jesus
desires
for you and all who trust Him! No Bible knowledge or previous
church
experience is required.
“You shall
receive power after the Holy Spirit has
come upon you. Then you shall be My witnesses…in all the
earth.” – Jesus
in Acts 1:8

We are called to build this believing community by establishing Life Transformation Groups of two or three who invite others and multiply from groups of two or three to larger "home" fellowship dedicated to serving one another and the children in their midst.
All who are being called to work in this mission will gather as His Church for Worship and Holy Communion on a regular basis for encouragement, prayer, empowering and the building up of the body of Jesus Christ.
We do all of this to fulfill the Great Commission and the Great Commandments of God. Jesus said:
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I command you;" (Matthew 28:19-20).
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:37-38)
Other scriptures that form us are:
Jesus said: "Wherever two or three are gathered in My name there am I in the midst of them" (Matthew 18:20)
"They devoted themselves to the Apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers...........Day by day they spent much time together in the Temple, and they broke bread from house to house......" (Acts 2:42,46)
The highest priority flowing out of this commission and these commandments is to love people so much, praying for them and with them and caring for them that they meet Jesus and grow to love Him.
The Anglican Mission in America exists to glorify God and to serve, grow, and multiply local churches that love Jesus Christ and reach the world He died to save (John 3:16-17; Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:14-47).
Additionally, we seek to create an alliance of congregations in America that are committed to gathering, planting, and serving dynamic churches in the Anglican tradition.
