Lakewood Epiphany is a traditional
Anglican congregation.
Music in our services focuses on familiar Hymns and our
services are taken
from the Book of Common Prayer 1979. They include Rite 1
services during
Advent and Lent, and Rite 2 services during the remainder of the year.
Our
worshipping community is a small congregation comprised mostly of
adults along
with two young families. Our life together is
characterized by
friendliness and recognition of the gifts and blessings that each
individual
brings to our time together. All persons seeking a meaningful
worship
life are welcome.
Life groups are the essential building block of Epiphany Anglican Fellowship providing the place for both Community and Mission Impact so that we can truly build a community where people can “Know Christ”. Life groups provide robust Community by providing a place to practice the Christian life together. In life groups you can be known and loved for who you are currently while being challenged to grow into the person God designed you to be. You can practice the Christian Life, learning to understand the Scriptures, care for others, pray effectively, and use your gifts. Life groups also provide a vehicle for impacting neighborhoods for Jesus. No single person has all the gifts for the Church, it is a Body after all! You see the needs around your homes. You see the way Jesus could change the people you interact with. You have better ideas, goals and dreams for the people in your neighborhood than any bureaucratic system could. So, why not empower you and your life group of Jesus Followers to help people Know Christ… neighborhood by neighborhood.
